COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Bridge the Gap

CEC_V1_Color_NB_Hori_edited.png

The Community Engagement Committee (CEC) works to develop partnerships between the Marquette and Milwaukee community in order to foster long-term collaborative efforts.  Within the university and the community, CEC collaborates with the Office of Community Service, the Center for Peacemaking, the Service Learning Program, and the Near West Side Partners. The goal of the committee is to further Marquette’s connection with the surrounding neighborhoods by reaching out to community stakeholders, non-profit organizations, and locally owned businesses to create interpersonal relationships and initiatives. CEC focuses on helping promote unity and collaboration between the Marquette and Milwaukee community.
